SPA/UKPIA Petrol Retail Safety Passport

Working in or around a Petrol Forecourt or Petrol Filling Station? As a contractor working in or around a Petrol Forecourt you will be expected to demonstrate an understanding of the hazards related to this environment. The storage and dispensing of highly flammable liquids, combined with the presence of the general public (and the movement of their vehicles) amongst other hazards creates a uniquely dangerous workplace environment.

In the UK there is an industry-recognised qualification for anyone working around a forecourt or in the shop/kiosk. The UK Petroleum Industry Association (UKPIA), comprising key stakeholders such as Oil Companies, retailers and Industry Representatives, has supported the development of a sector-specific Contractor Safety Passport scheme with the Safety Pass Alliance (SPA).

Tersus Training is the leading provider of SPA/UKPIA courses across the country and we offer the options of a full schedule of Open courses or coming to deliver the training in-house at your premises.
